Hon'ble Chief Justice of India Shri DY Chandrachud laid the foundation stone for the Rajiv K Luthra Academic Wing at the National Law School of India University in Bengaluru on the 22nd of September, 2024.
Present on the occasion were several distinguished guests and dignitaries including Hon'ble Attorney General of India Shri R. Venkataramani, Chairman of Bar Council of India Manan Mishra, Chief Trustee of Rajiv K Luthra Foundation Mrs Gayatri Luthra, Managing Partner of Luthra & Luthra Law Offices Shri Harry Chawla, and Shri Amit Luthra, Managing Partner of Luthra and Luthra Chartered Accountants.
National Law School of India University has been India's top ranked institution for legal education since the last two decades and the Rajiv K Luthra Foundation's grant will be used to redevelop the Academic Wing by redesigning existing, and building new, classrooms and seminar rooms. The foundation has also instituted two annual gold medals in the memory of Shri Rajiv K Luthra - to be awarded to meritorious students. Further, the grant will be used to organise an annual lecture series in honour of Shri. Rajiv Luthra.
Rajiv K. Luthra Memorial Colloquium at Bennett University
In association with the Centre for Constitutional Law Studies at the School of Law, Bennett University, the foundation organised its first event on the 25th of November 2023, a colloquium on "Modern Technology, AI and Constitutional Rights: An Intersectional Insight". The event was in honour of Rajiv Luthra's life, work, and contributions within the legal landscape of India. The colloquium was a part of the University's celebration of "Constitution Week", a series of events which came to an end with valedictory remarks given by the former Chief Justice of India Mr. Deepak Verma.

Malvika Rajkotia is one of the country's most successful lawyers in the field of family law, and a distinguished author. She leads Rajkotia Associates, a leading multidisciplinary law firm specialising in matrimonial and property law. She was the anchor on Shakti, the first television talk show in India that focused on women's rights.
Gopal Sankaranarayanan
Gopal Sankaranarayanan is the youngest advocate to be designated as a "Senior Advocate" in the last 25 years - a distinguished authority on constitutional law, he assisted in drafting the Constitution of Bhutan. His legal practice includes a significant amount of pro bono work and public interest litigation, addressing issues such as electoral independence, right to water, marital rape, man-animal conflict, clean air in India, and tree protection.
